The Seminole State College Planetarium is proud to present the 2017 Winter Sky Festival on Saturday, Jan. 14, from 5 to 11 p.m.! As one of Central Florida’s most family-friendly events, visitors will be treated to telescope viewings of the moon, the planets Venus and Mars, galaxies, star clusters and nebulae, as well as several presentations throughout the star party area. Additionally, we’ll have several phenomenal laser shows playing throughout the Festival. There’s certainly something for everyone! Once again, we will be hosting several of Orlando’s delicious food trucks in the star party area, so bring a hearty appetite for food and fun. The event will take place in the faculty and staff parking lot adjacent to building B and the planetarium, just off College Drive on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus.
