Learn to camp in a fun, family-oriented event by participating in the “Great American Campout” sponsored by the Seminole County Leisure Services Department.  Dinner and breakfast are included!   Some of the camp activities include:

bonfire,

camp sing-a-long,

stargazing,

nature hikes

fire safety

wildlife chat

cast iron cooking

and more surprises!

Also included is that camping tradition of cooking s’mores over a campfire.  Seminole County’s own Jim Duby will bring several native snakes and turtles.  He will also talk to the campers about the different habitats and native animals that live in the Central Florida area.

$5.00 / per person or $20.00 / family maximum.  At least one family member must be under 12 to participate.
